If They Knew

Numbers 32:23“But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.” (NIV 1978)

My Musing – If we knew we would get caught, we likely would not take the risk. Yet with sin we do it all the time. We can never get away with it.

My Advice – As you make decisions in life, big or small, think of the people who are most important to you and ask yourself this question: “would it make a difference if they knew?” Assume that they will and use that as a guide in making the decision.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.

  1. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
