Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of…anything that causes someone else to stumble. (Romans 14:1, 19–20, NIV 1984).
My Musings – It maybe unfortunate, but one person’s trivial details may be a very important consideration to others. And what is extremely important to others may seem trivial someone else. We must not let these things divide unless they are central to the faith. Then we must gently instruct and correct unless and until a firmer rebuke is required.
My Advice – Let’s not be the cause of another’s stumbling, rather let’s be the one who assists them in regaining their footing in the faith. We never know when we might need someone to do the same for us.
