Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses.” (Acts 13:36–39, NIV 1984).
My Musings – There is only one person throughout the history of the world whose “purpose” will extend into eternity. Be it King David, or any other influential person who has come and gone, or will come and go, their purpose serves only their generation. For sure, the impact of some of the things they accomplished may last for quite some time, but not forever.
