In The Course Of Time

2 Samuel 2:1 – In the course of time, David inquired of the Lord. (NIV 1978)

My Musing – With God, time has very little to do with the date or the hour. It has every time to do with “when it is right.”

My Advice – Try not to be too impatient for the things that you hope for and desire. They may not seem to come as quickly as you would like, but they will come “in the course of time,” if it is God’s will. Trying to rush things or to force God’s hand can lead to a less than desirous result. God knows this. He sees the end from the beginning. He knows the optimal time for the optimal result.
