Do Not Waver

1 Kings 18:21 – “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal is god, follow him.” (NIV 1978)

My Musing – In this day and age, at least in the western world, idolatry in the Old Testament sense does not really exist. There are not competing “gods” to believe in. Most people are clear in their convictions, they either believe in God or they do not. Unfortunately, for those who believe in God, there is often wavering because they do not follow Him.

My Advice – Do not be shallow in your belief in God and in His Son Jesus Christ. Follow them wholeheartedly and do not waver.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
