Giving Back

1 Chronicles 29:14b – Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. (NIV 1978)

My Musing – All we have is from God. When we give, we are merely returning to Him a portion of what He gave us.

My Advice – Recognize that your intelligence, talent, accomplishments, health and resources are a gift from God. Be thankful. Do not hesitate to give back to Him, and be generous when you do so. He has not been stingy with His blessings to you. Do not be stingy in showing your gratitude.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
