Close The Gap

2 Chronicles 22:7 – “Stay close to the king.” (NIV 1978)

My Musing – Good advice. Whatever we do, wherever we go, we need to stay close to the King of kings and Lord of lords. If we see a gap opening up, we can be sure we are either not keeping in step with Him or we’ve moved away from Him.

My Advice – Maintain a close relationship with God. Avoid things that might harm the relationship or erode the intimacy. Stay in His Word, stay on your knees (prayer) and stay connected to His people (the church). These will help you maintain, and grow in, the relationship.
