Psalms 19:7-9 – The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. (NIV 1978)
My Musings – We think of the laws and commandments as something to put us down and not revive, being a burden and not a joy, darkening our day not making it radiant. We need a better perspective.
My Advice – Want to be revived when you are weary, wise when you are perplexed, joyful when facing sadness and walk in the light in a dark world? Then consider God’s laws to be perfect, trustworthy, right, radiant, pure, enduring and sure, and act in accordance with them.
