1 Timothy 1:5 – The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. (NIV 1978)
My Musings – A sincere faith leads to a pure heart, which in turn leads to a conscience that is clear. The final result is love.
My Advice – Keep your faith in God and Christ sincere. It is the key to a pure heart, a clear conscience and love for others.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
