Shine Like Stars

Dusting off the archives.

Philippians 2:14 – Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life. (NIV 1978)

My Musings – It is a dark world. We should stand out because we are children of the light. We do not want to blend in or be indistinguishable from the darkness.

My Advice – There are many ways to get ahead in your career. Do it in a way that you can be proud of. Stand out by standing for what is right and by doing things the right way.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
