Onward Christian Soldiers

Original blog from April 14, 2018. Let’s make sure as we do battle against exposure to the coronavirus, that we do not forget that there are other more lethal enemies out there prowling around, ready to attack when we are otherwise distracted.

Preparing To Do Battle

  • Why is it important to know our enemy (“not against flesh and blood“) when choosing our weapons?
  • What is so important about using all (“full”) the armor?
  • Are there instances where it is all right to give a little ground (i.e.  to not “stand your ground”) in order to make greater gains in the long run? Why (or why not)?
  • What happens when we go into battle…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
