From Every Nation…

“Then Peter began to speak: ‘I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right. You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.'” (Acts 10:34–36, NIV 1984).

My Musings – God accepts men and women from every nation, race and culture, as long as they come to Him through Jesus Christ. That is the only way anyone can “do what is right.

My Advice – Do not show favoritism within the Body or to those you share the Gospel and might become part of the body. In other words, don’t show favoritism to anyone. In the judgment, God will separate the wheat from the chaff.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
