Born Again 2

In his conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus equates being born again with spiritual birth. A bridge, if you will, that we must cross over before we can enter the Kingdom of God.

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24)

Our first birth, a physical birth, gave us this life that we know and understand, a life that we also know will eventually end in death. Being born again is, in reality,

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
