Who then is able to stand against me? Who has a claim against me that I must pay?Everything under heaven belongs to me.  (Job 41:10–11, NIV 1984).

My Musings – The “me” is God speaking.  Everything belongs to Him.  No one can stand against Him. He owes no one anything.  Yet He willingly paid the dearest possible price to satisfy a claim He did not owe.  No one could compel Him to do so.  It was His love for His creation that compelled Him.

My Advice – How can we possibly insist that there must be another path to Him?  Why would we want to?  It’s free.  Grab it while we still can.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
