Boast About This

This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength, or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:23-24, 1984).

My Musings – The wisdom, strength and riches of the wisest, strongest or richest man or woman is no match for the kindness, justice and righteousness of God. No one is wiser, stronger or richer than God, yet these are the things we would boast about. Not caring as much as we should about HIs kindness, justice and righteousness. Many even go as far as to say He is not kind, just or righteous. What folly. He not only has these qualities, He delights in them.

My Advice – We really do not truly understand or know God as we should. Now that would indeed be something to boast about.
