My Musings – Careless words, words said in haste or in a moment of anger are rarely “gentle” or “wise.” Whether they are spoken, shared on social media, or disseminated in some other fashion. Rather than “[turning] away wrath,” they usually “[stir] up anger.”
My Advice – Guard your mouth (pen, keyboard). “My dear [readers], take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.” (James 1:19, 3:10, NIV 1984). Guess which one “should not be.“
