“Do men make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods! Therefore, I will teach them— this time I will teach them my power and might. Then they will know that my name is the Lord.” (Jeremiah 16:20–21, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Though there are still cultures in the world that worship many “gods,” that is largely not the case in the western world. There is either one God and many paths, no gods and no path, or One God and one path. A time is coming, when the One true God “will teach them [His] power and might. Then they will know” the truth – One God, one path.
My Advice –“Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.” (Revelation 1:7, NIV 1984). It is best to “see Him” for who He is now, rather than when He comes “with the clouds.” To know Him through grace, rather than being taught by His “power and might.“
