“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32, NIV 1984).
My Musings – If we are in His flock, we have nothing to fear. Not even fear itself. Because “Jesus said to his disciples [flock]: ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.'” (Luke 12:22+24, 30–31, NIV 1984). For when we are in His Kingdom, our heart has a new affection.
My Advice – “Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?” (Job 38:41, NIV 1984). Will He not also provide hat is necessary for the children of His Kingdom? As well as “a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted.” (Luke 12:33, NIV 1984). So, why worry. why be afraid?
