Why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: “As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.” So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore, let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way. (Romans 14:10–13, NIV 1984).
My Musings – It is one of the easiest things to do – passing judgment on others. It does not help them, rather it is stumbling block that we put in their way when we do judge. We must remember, when be bow before our LORD and confess to Him, we will be giving our own account, not anyone else’s. And our account will include the times we passed judgement on others. We need to think on that each time we are tempted to judge.
My Advice – “Let the assembled peoples gather around you. Rule over them from on high; let the Lord judge the peoples.” (Psalm 7:7–8, NIV 1984). for His judgment is righteous.
