Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. (1 Timothy 1:15, NIV 1984).
My Musings – If we didn’t need saving, He would not have come. But we did, and He did. This is not something to be believed half-heartedly. We must fully accept it in order to be saved.
Only Christ could intercede on our behalf and save us from the wrath of God. To restore the break in fellowship mankind once enjoyed in the garden. “God is not a mortal like me, so I cannot argue with him or take him to trial. If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together.” (Job 9:32–33, NLT 2015).
My Advice – We are unable to plead our case, because we have nothing to plead. Nevertheless, “the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.” (1 John 4:14, NIV 1984). We would be foolish to not accept this “plea bargain.”
