Christ Has Indeed Been Raised

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard. (1 John 1:3, NIV 1984).

My Musings – John, one of many eyewitnesses. What did He and the others see and hear? Jesus Christ, risen from the dead. The only reason John was able to “proclaim to [us] the eternal life.” (1 John 1:2, NIV 1984). For as the Apostle Paul (another eyewitness of the risen Lord) said, “if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:14, 20, NIV 1984).

My Advice – Don’t believe the scoffers and detractors. Believe the eyewitnesses. Then, when your earthly life is over, “God will redeem [your] life from the grave; He will surely take [you] to himself.” (Psalm 49:15, NIV 1984).

I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
