“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (Revelation 4:11, NIV 1984).
My Musings – Praise that is largely being denied Him today by His created beings. But a day is coming when “before me [God] every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. They will say of me, in the Lord alone are righteousness and strength.’ All who have raged against Him will come to Him and be put to shame.” (Isaiah 45:23-24, NIV 1984).
The destiny of those who “raged against Him” is grim. “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when [they] see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but [themselves] thrown out. People will come from east and west and north and south and will take their places at the feast in the Kingdom of God.” (Luke 13:28–29, NIV 1984). The people who “will take their places at the feast” are those who recognized that He was indeed worthy and placed their trust in His Son Jesus Christ.
My Advice – Do not rage against Him. Do not deny the Creator. Rather bow and swear now that “in the Lord alone are righteousness and strength.” “For there is no other name [i.e., Jesus] under heaven given to men by which we [can] be saved.” (Acts 4:12, NIV 1984).
