My Musings – A couple of my favorite passages from the Bible. The “troubles” we encounter in this world are more than overcome by the “delightful inheritance” we have if we’ve placed our faith in Christ. We likely feel at times that “[our] portion and [our] cup]” are more than we can bear. Yet we can be assured that there are “boundary lines” the God will not allow to be crossed. And one day, when we have finally “overcome the world” and have passed into His presence, we will fully realize that “[our] lot [was always] secure.” And that is an encouraging thought.
My Advice – “He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, ‘drink from it.” (Matthew 26:27, NIV 1984). Take what is offered from His hand.
