After Rehoboam’s position as king was established and he had become strong, he and all Israel with him abandoned the law of the LORD. (2 Chronicles 12:1, NIV 1984).
My Musings – There is hidden danger once our position in life becomes established and strong. A tendency to become self-sufficient and reliant on our own strength.
My Advice – Don’t get so full of yourself that you abandon the way of the LORD.
