Waiting For Instructions

Numbers 9:8 – Moses answered them, “Wait until I find out what the Lord commands concerning you.” (NIV 1978)

My Musing – God wants to guide us and direct our steps. But we get in a hurry and get out in front of Him before He can clear the way for us. Or, we go in a direction that He never intended and we run into trouble that He would not have led us into if we waited.

My Advice – There will be many times in life that you will not want to wait. You will be eager to do this or that and grow impatient with inaction. But you will make fewer mistakes in life if you seek God’s will before rushing to judgment or action.
