My Musings – Paul was as trustworthy as they come, but the Bereans still made sure that what he was saying was scriptural. The Word is the ultimate authority, not our pastors, Sunday school teachers or mentors.
My Advice – Make sure when you receive a message that you check it out for yourself. Many things will sound true but nevertheless be wrong. Do this even if the source is otherwise trustworthy (yes even when it is from me). People are fallible; the Word of God is not.
