Hebrews 2:18 – Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. (NIV 1978)
My Musings – Jesus not only suffered by dying on the cross for our sins, He suffered by being subjected to the same temptations that we are – yet without sin.
My Advice – Don’t think that Jesus does not understand the temptations that you face. He does.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.

Original blog from April 10, 2019. He was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Surely He bore our iniquities. He understands more than we could ever know. That’s why He came in the first place. That’s why some day He’ll come again.
