Psalms 46:1-3 – God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. (NIV 1978)

My Musings – No matter how formidable the obstacle or how high the odds are against us, we need not fear. God is always present, willing and able to lend His strength to us.

My Advice – Remember, when your strength fails, you will be at your strongest, because that is when you rely on God the most. He will always be there to help, if you let Him. Make sure you let Him.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
