Not Your Concern Back There

Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “…what is that to you? You must follow me.” (John 21:20–22, NIV).

My Musings – We can spend way too much time looking back to find out what the other guy is doing. God has called each of us to do our part.  Not their part.

My Advice – Be faithful to what you are called to.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
