Costly Ransom

“No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him— the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough— that he should live on forever and not see decay. But God will redeem my life from the grave; He will surely take me to Himself.”  (Psalms 49:7-9, 15, NIV 1984).

My Musings – No mere man.  Only He who was fully God and fully man could give God the ransom.  And not just for one.  THE One is able to ransom everyone “whosoever believeth in Him.”  His payment was more than enough.

My Advice – Sadly, many will not believe.  God “bankrupted” Heaven to pay the ransom price for your soul.  Don’t be one who will not believe.
