WORTHINESS OF GODThey lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (Revelation 10b, 11)

The Greek word translated “lay” is better translated cast or throw. The phrase ultimately describes submission. The twenty-four elders, though wearing crowns themselves, acknowledge that the ultimate source of their power is

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
