Fall Into His Hands

“Let us fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.” (2 Samuel 24:14, NIV 1984).

My Musings – One does not want to fall “into the hands of the LORD,” if they have not appropriated His mercy through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. If we have done that, it will not matter if we “fall into the hands of men.” “In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?” (Psalm 56:4, NIV ).

My Advice – Make sure you need not fear falling “into the hands of the LORD. For His mercy is great.”

I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives.
