Junk Food Junkies

Taste and see that the LORD is good. (Psalm 34:8, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Regrettably, we spend way too much time tasting the “junk food” of the world, while neglecting a healthy diet of spiritual “soul food.”  As a result, we grow fat, lazy and in poor spiritual health.  It is bad enough that we remain too long on a diet of spiritual milk, before moving on to solid food, only to compound it by choosing a diet of “fast food” with no real “nutritional” value.  When we could be lingering at the banquet table of the Lord.

My Advise – Eat healthy.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
