I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. (Jude 3–4).

My Musing – Contend for the faith against those who would in any way change the grace of God. For how could one possibly think that the grace that took away the condemnation of our sinful acts, and at such a great cost, would give us license to sin all the more? What greater way to deny Jesus Christ than to claim that His death granted us license to sin more? This would not only change the grace of God, but it would also…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
