Who Would You Become?

2 Chronicles 25:2 – He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, but not wholeheartedly. (NIV 1984)

“The greatest waste in the world is the difference between what we are and what we could become.” – Ben Herbster

My Musings – Who we are, and who we could become, may very well be the difference between doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord, but only doing it half-heartedly.  It might not be the greatest waste, but it is a waste nonetheless.

My Advice – Serve the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.  This is wholeheartedness – your heart, soul, mind and strength working together to the last measure.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
