The Day of the Lord

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.

  1. When people are fashionably late,-for any number of reasons-they miss so much! If they’re poking around waiting to accept the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives, they miss having Him in their hearts, building their faith, doing good works, learning God’s Word, letting Him guide them down the right paths, etc. I liken it to when I volunteered as an usher for the local orchestra. People would stroll in after intermission just to get the gist of the performance. 🙂
