Ecclesiastes 7:10 – Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions. (NIV 1984)
My Musings – We can learn from the past, to help us live in the present, not to relive the past successes or repeat the past failures.
My Advice – Do not live in the past (thinking they were better) or dwell on the past (regretting mistakes made). The past is the past, the “present” is a gift.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
