Work of Faith, Labor of Love, Enduring Hope

1 Thessalonians 1:3We continually remember before our God your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV 1978)

My Musings – Work, labor and endurance, without faith, love and hope are meaningless and unfulfilling.

My Advice – Make sure you give your life to a purpose you love, that increases your faith, and that leaves you with hope.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
