Hebrews 5:14 – But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (NIV 1978)
My Musings – Casual Christianity does not lead to maturity.
My Advice – Be intentional about your walk with Christ. Exercise it as an athlete in training that hardens his body, builds his endurance and hones his skills.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.

Original blog April 15, 2019. A casual Christian is an immature Christian, if he or she is one at all. There was nothing casual about Christ’s path to the cross. There should be nothing casual about our walking in His steps.
