Divided Highway At the “Cross” Road

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:13–14, NIV 1984).

My Musings – All paths are level leading to the cross, but at its foot the path diverges.  It is up to us which path we take.  Before He left, He gave directions on how to take the right path.

My Advice – Choose wisely.  The wise choice may not be the easy choice, and it will most likely not be the popular choice.  But it is the right path.  Because the easy choice, the popular choice “leads to destruction. It’s end is the way of death.”

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
