When shelter in place first went into effect, people rallied to “gather” together virtually. “They can’t stop us from worshipping.” But without face-to-face accountability, some churches may be experiencing a drop-off in virtual attendees that is greater than those returning to actual gatherings of the church with “mask-to-mask” accountability. Satan is counting in this. If he can get the faithful to forsake the gathering together (virtually and/or in-person) keeping others away will be that much easier. He may think he is winning. Let’s show it “ain’t” so.
