My Musings – We cannot entirely appreciate the significance of the gifts that the Magi presented in celebration of the Christ child’s birth, until we accept the gift that Jesus offers through His death on the cross. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Accepting death on a cross so that He might offer us the gift of new birth.

My Advice – It’s the most expensive gift we could ever receive, yet it is free.  Unlike all other gifts, it will never lose its value or wear out.  All you have to do is believe in Him.  Not just believe about Him, but believe in Him.  It’s a huge difference.  Believing about Him will not save you.  Believing in Him will.  Read my “The Born Again Experience” to…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
