When The Time Was Right

“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless…while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. We have now been justified by his blood…saved from God’s wrath…reconciled.” (Romans 5:6, 8-9, NIV 1984).

My Musings – While we can speculate, we really do not know what made it the right “time” for Christ to come.  What we do not have to speculate about is that He did come.  He died.  He rose from the dead.  By all the rules of evidence, this is a documented, historical fact.

Strangely enough “at just the right time,” was “while we were still sinners.”  We were so powerless that there would never be a “right time,” never be a time when we would not be “still sinners,” under the Law.  By His blood (and only His blood) we were justified, declared righteous.  The only way we could be reconciled to God and saved from His justifiable wrath.

My Advice – For anyone that has not been justified and are still in their sins, now is the right time to accept His gift.
