It’s Simple Geometry

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must [or can] be saved.” (Acts 4:12, NIV 1984).

My Musings – Justice and mercy.  Wrath and grace.  Incompatible to say the least.  Like parallel lines never to meet.  Until the cross, where they intersected.  Only God could do that.  But it cost Him a lot.  Why then would He pay that price if there were other (cheaper) ways?

My Advice – We should be thankful that God provided any way.  Still many insist there must be other ways.  Don’t argue the point.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
