Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. My Musings – Craving and lusting and boasting – oh my!  Desires such as these will pass away.  And when they are gone, what will be left?  We have to let these things go in order “to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of [us].” (Philippians 3:12, NIV 1984).  We cannot have it both ways.  “No one can serve two masters. I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
