Every Activity

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, NIV 1984).

My Musings – “Appreciate where you are in your journey, even if it’s not where you want to be.  Every season serves a purpose.” (Unknown).  In fact, the very thing that you are experiencing now, most likely is necessary to get you to where Christ is taking you.  If may not be where you expected or initially wanted to go, but rest assured it will be better in the long-run.  But wherever it is, what you are going through now, serves a purpose.  Unless you are outside the will of God, it is serving His purpose.  And even if you are outside His will, it is likely what is needed to get you back on the right path.

My Advice“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, NIV 1984). Have you answered the call?  It won’t mean that all things that happen in our life will be good, but they will serve a purpose and work to the good.  If you haven’t answered the call, this promise is not yours.  But it can be.  Won’t you answer the call?

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
