The Time Will Come

“The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great.” (Revelation 11:18, NIV 1984).

My Musings – The time will come. A day of fear and gloom for those who will be judged. What they may be getting away with in this age, they will pay for in the next. And for rejecting Jesus the Messiah, for all eternity. But for His servants, those who accepted the Christ, “those who reverence His name,” a day or rewards. But more importantly, “[then] the dwelling of God [will be] with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” (Revelation 21:3–5, NIV 1984).

My Advice – So, which sounds good to you? Which will you choose? Choose Christ.

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
