Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash and be cleansed’!” (2 Kings 5:13, NIV 1984).
My Musings – This is another verse that, while speaking to a specific context, can be taken as sound advice in another context. Many would willingly do “some great thing” for God, but are less willing to do what they consider less great or menial. Great things usually result in the praise of many, while the the less great or menial are often done in obscurity outside of the view with only the praise of a few, if any.
