My Musings – Do you “remember those earlier days,” right after becoming a Christian?  We couldn’t get enough of reading God’s word. praying, attending Church and just being with like-minded fellow believers.  We envied those who were mature in the faith and seemed so knowledgeable and discerning about Spiritual matters.  We wanted to grow up into Christ and be just like them, the envy of other Christians in our wealth of Spiritual wisdom.  Not just in what we knew, but also in how it influenced the way that we lived our lives.  How knowing Christ not only changed our eternal destination, but also our temporal journey until we reached it.

My Advice – How’s it going?  Have “you stood your ground?”  Or, have you “[thrown] away your confidence?”  Have you allowed yourself to be one of “those who shrink back?”  Have you…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
