The Brew Is A Musing

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” . (Galatians 2:20, NIV 1984).

“Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.'” (Luke 23:33–34, NIV 1984).

My Musings – How well are we living? Is it the old self that has the upper hand or the new self? It shows by how much we live like Jesus. Is the love showing through? To those who believe differently than we do? Who look different than we do? Whose values are different than ours? Even to those who would do us harm? Perhaps they do not know what they are doing. Perhaps, like the Ninevites, they “do not know their right hand from their left.“Should [we] not be concerned” about them? (Jonah 4:11).

My Advice – Was there not someone at sometime that was concerned about…

I was raised in a Christian family and my earliest childhood memories include regular Sunday school and Church attendance as a family. I was taught that our Judeo-Christian values were not just a part of our Sunday routine they should be part of our character and influence all aspects of our lives. I was also taught that as important as these values were they could not save us. We must also be “born again” by accepting Christ.
